hierarchyThe Dystonia and Speech Motor Control Laboratory is dedicated to studying the neural control of voice and speech production in healthy individuals and its alterations in patients with neurological disorders, such as spasmodic dysphonia and voice tremor. We are also interested in the pathophysiological interplays between spasmodic dysphonia and other focal dystonias, as well as related movement disorders, such as essential tremor and Parkinson's disease.
